CHICAGO (MarketWatch) -- Shares of Petco Animal Supplies Inc. fell as much as 23% Friday after the company said accounting errors would force it to reduce fourth-quarter earnings, lower fiscal 2005 forecasts and delay filing its annual report with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
